This waterproof and windstopper shell features three-layer nylon GORE-TEX fabric to keep the elements out. The 28K/<3.5 RET membrane provides excellent waterproof protection whilst remaining highly breathable. A zipped double slider down the front allows for increased ventilation. Reflective elements keep you visible on the mountain. Two zipped hand pockets securely store small items. NEW GORE-TEX ACTIVE: 3-layer polyamide fabric (96 g/sq.m) with plain construction. Lighter, softer and quieter than the previous generation thanks to the special laminated fine-knit layer in polyamide 6.6 that is incorporated within the membrane. Excellent waterproofing (28,000 mm water column), breathability (RET < 3.5) and water-repellent properties, it dries quickly and is easy to clean. It offers excellent abrasion resistance and is guaranteed to be permanently waterproof. ANTIUV: UPF50+. |
