XTR ALU EF – Folding Gabel poles for Trail Running, Trekking, and Ski Mountaineering

The XTR ALU EF are folding sticks perfect for taking the first steps in trail running and hiking; they are also recommended for professionals. From mountain running to trekking and ski mountaineering, this model meets the practicality, lightness, and versatility needs that outdoor activities demand.

The handle of this model is the Ergo Fit, equipped with the patented Gabel system for releasing the strap. The T.C.S. (Automatic Top Click System) technology allows for easy adjustment or removal of the strap. The T.C.S. system provides the option to wash the strap or replace it with another compatible one.

The tube is made of aluminum and is divided into 5 sections, with diameters ranging from 18 to 14 mm. Thanks to the Wired technology, it is possible to quickly fold the sections by clicking a simple button. Pressure on the button allows loosening the plastic-coated steel cable that connects the various sections.

Above the button of the Wired system is the Mono Lock. This technology adjusts the connection of the first section with the next one, once the desired height is set.

The tip is made of tungsten carbide, a particularly durable material that provides excellent traction on various types of terrain.
