The Alptrek 55+10 is a comfortable trekking backpack made of lightweight, highly abrasion-resistant nylon, with a fully adjustable carrying system and a large 55-liter capacity. It's designed for hiking and long-distance activities, such as the Alta Via routes. If you need to carry more gear, there's the option to add another ten liters via the height-adjustable removable lid compartment, which also serves as a standalone stuff sack. Our Dry Back Custom carrying system is easy to adjust, with customizable back length, plus padded shoulder straps and waist belt with an individualized anatomical design. Compression straps ensure an optimal fit over long distances, while pre-shaped side stabilizers ensure a snug fit and good load transfer at the hips. Large pockets provide plenty of space for spare clothing or tent poles. There's dual access (front and top) to the main compartment to keep all your gear quickly and easily accessible (so you don't spend an hour finding your toiletry bag). It features a hydration system outlet, ice axe/walking pole holder, a rope lock, load control straps, and side compression straps. It's also compatible with the Salewa hydration bladder holder. Other features include a rain cover, a handy lanyard for attaching additional gear, and lower attachment straps for a sleeping bag insulator.
