• SEND-Rescue: Protection function for rescuers who are not involved in the search. In the event of a second avalanche that would bury a rescuer, the SEND mode is automatically triggered and reports the burial position
• Automatic switch from search mode to transmission mode: Safety function for rescuers searching with an avalanche victim detector in the event of a second burial. If a rescuer does not move for four minutes, the avalanche victim detector automatically switches from SEARCH mode to SEND mode using a motion detector.
• Automatic self-test: Your Barryvox® checks the signal of your send and search function when it is switched on, and regularly performs transmission and battery tests.
• Interference mitigation: The Barryvox® manages and reduces any signal interference, and indicates if interference is detected on the send and search modes.
• Group check: This function allows you to quickly and easily check the frequency and transmission power of other avalanche victim detectors to ensure that they are functioning properly.

• Voice guidance: The Barryvox® supports you with additional instructions in all phases of the search. Currently unavailable in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the USA.
• Acoustic search guidance: A sequence of tones guides you in the direction of the buried person and allows you to keep your eyes on the avalanche field during the search.
• Intuitive visual interface: Guides you intuitively through all search phases and displays an overview of multiple burials.
• Auto-Select function: In the event of multiple burials, the Barryvox® will first guide you to the strongest signal.
• Marking function for multiple burials
• The direction reversal function prevents 180-degree search errors
• Deep burial mode: if a very deep burial is detected, the fine search is automatically started earlier (> 3 m) for precise guidance. Compatible with the Barryvox app for firmware updates, configuration settings, search training with the Barryvox®
• Barryvox carrying system (included in delivery): comfortable and secure carrying of the avalanche victim detector on the upper body
