The new QUANTIX SF presents precision climbing in a new way. The innovative Single Frame technology holds the foot from below like a hand, allowing excellent precision with dynamic flex. It has a neutral shape with a subtle downturned and a medium to high angled toe box, with a ¾ Flexan dynamic midsole for excellent edging on all styles of climbing.

1. UPPER

Multi-panel upper with seamless Alcantara big toe panel extending under the ball of the foot and seamless four-toe panel for the best custom molding fit. Soft touch Microfiber fabric in the heel giving a second skin fit with top level sensitivity.

¾ length Flexan 1 mm for good edging support.

3. ACTIVE RANDING

SF works like a hand, wrapping the foot from below and firmly holding it in position. The single rubber piece protection randing around the toe area is a highly effective tension system at the same time. The advantage of the single piece is that there are no interruptions, like in multi-piece constructions, and it follows and adapts pefectly to the dynamics of foot movements.

Technical features

PAF is an innovative heel system that helps both spread the force of the heel tension and increase the fit of the heel. The aggressive tension-rubber is interrupted behind the heel to reduce pressure on the achilles tendon and connected with softer rubber, that works like a bridge and allows full adaption to the shape of the heel. The holes on the side of the heel indicate the tension applied, which varies between 1 hole for light tension, 2 holes for mid tension and 3 holes for strong tension.

M50 Rubber is their softest rubber compound offering the best levels  of adaptability to the natural  curves of the foot and toes.  This morphing rubber compound, developed with Davos®, gives a Shore A rating of 50, making it perfect for use in our  SRT system, toe patches and strategic positioning around  the shoe upper.
