The La Sportiva Bushido II GTX is the GORE-TEX Invisible Fit membrane version of the classic Bushido Mountain Running model: a competition shoe dedicated to the world of skyraces, ultra-lightweight, aggressive and grippy, built to guarantee perfect stability on any off-road terrain, now also ready for the winter months thanks to its waterproof protection.
Lateral TPU skeleton and GORE-TEX Invisible Fit
The stability control system is built around a TPU plate positioned laterally over the upper that wraps the central part of the midsole, delivering stability without heavy stabilising pieces at the centre of the shoe, which also reduces overall weight. The GORE-TEX Invisible Fit membrane integrates directly into the Air Mesh upper, protecting against rain and snow without adding bulk or altering the fit compared to the non-membrane version.
Slip-on construction and dual-density EVA midsole
The sock-style construction wraps the foot without creating compression points or localised pressure, while the dual-density compressed EVA midsole, reinforced with Rock-Guard, absorbs impact and protects against protruding rocks on technical terrain. The stretchy Air Mesh tongue and reinforced lace eyelets complete a secure, enveloping fit built for high-tempo racing.
FriXion® Red outsole with differentiated contact surfaces
The dual-compound FriXion® Red outsole features rounded outer lugs that rise laterally up to the midsole, creating a gradual support angle that maintains stability even under extreme foot torsion. The Impact Brake System™ absorbs impact and improves traction, while the outsole allows AT Grip Spikes to be attached for running on snow or very muddy terrain.

- GORE-TEX Invisible Fit: Waterproof membrane integrated directly into the upper with no additional layers, protecting against rain and snow without altering the fit or feel compared to the non-membrane version.
- Stability Control System: TPU plate positioned laterally over the upper that wraps the central part of the midsole, delivering overall stability without additional heavy components, reducing the shoe's total weight.
- Slip-on construction: Sock-style shoe system that wraps the foot without creating compression points or localised pressure, improving comfort during long-duration races.
- Dual-density EVA: Compressed midsole foam combining different densities to balance cushioning and responsiveness, reinforced with Rock-Guard to protect against protruding rocks on technical terrain.
- FriXion® Red: Dual-material rubber compound differentiating contact surfaces: the rounded outer lugs rise laterally up to the midsole, creating a gradual support angle that maintains stability even under extreme foot torsion.
- Impact Brake™ System: System applied to the outsole that absorbs impact, aids traction and retains grip on descents, developed by La Sportiva in collaboration with Vibram®.
- AT Grip Spikes: Optional steel spikes that screw directly into the outsole for running on snow or very muddy terrain, extending the shoe's versatility in extreme winter conditions.
