Daisy Chain

A daisy chain is a 19mm nylon sling sewn into 7 loops, essential in aid climbing when used with a ladder. Its initial loop includes a half-turn to facilitate a perfect lark's head knot on the harness.

It's ideal for multi-pitch routes and alpine climbing, as it absorbs very little water and doesn't freeze. It's useful for positioning, testing uncertain anchors, and using its last loop as a foothold at hanging belays.

For safety, never use more than one carabiner per loop and never use it as your primary anchor. Its seams only support body weight when stationary and should never be subjected to the impact of a fall.
