The La Sportiva Bushido II GTX Woman is the technical GORE-TEX Invisible Fit membrane version of the classic Mountain Running Bushido II competition model, built for the most demanding runners. Lightweight, with excellent grip and designed to guarantee perfect stability on any off-road terrain, it's the shoe that turns winter running into a safe, controlled experience.
Slip-on construction with medial HF TPU skeleton
The breathable mesh upper, with thermoplastic film reinforcements to resist friction and abrasion, features a medial HF TPU skeleton applied over rip-stop panels that adds structure and moderate stability without penalising weight. The slip-on construction wraps the foot like a sock, without compressing it or creating pressure points, while the newly designed heel offers maximum fit comfort throughout the run.
GORE-TEX Invisible Fit and EVA midsole with Stability Control System
The GORE-TEX Invisible Fit membrane maintains the same fit and feel as the non-membrane version, with long-lasting waterproofing from summer showers to winter puddles. The compressed EVA midsole, integrated with the Stability Control System, delivers durability and responsiveness on soft terrain, reducing impact with every absorption while maintaining the responsiveness needed on technical sections.
FriXion® Red outsole with differentiated contact surfaces
The dual-blend FriXion® Red outsole features rounded outer lugs that create a gradual inclination angle with the ground, maintaining stability even under extreme foot torsion. This technology allows for safe running even on the most technical sections with roots, rocks and branches present, while the Impact Brake System™ improves traction and braking with every footstrike.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
- GORE-TEX Invisible Fit: Waterproof membrane integrated directly into the upper, with pores much smaller than water droplets but larger than water vapour molecules, guaranteeing total waterproofing without sacrificing breathability or the usual fit.
- Medial HF TPU skeleton: Structure applied over rip-stop panels in the midfoot area of the upper that adds support and stability without adding significant weight, improving control on lateral footholds.
- Slip-on construction: Sock-style shoe system that wraps the foot without compressing it or generating pressure points, improving comfort during long-duration races.
- Stability Control System: Integration between the midsole and the upper delivering durability and responsiveness on soft terrain, reducing impact with every absorption without losing responsiveness.
- FriXion® Red: Dual-blend rubber compound differentiating contact surfaces: the rounded outer lugs create a gradual inclination angle that maintains stability even under extreme foot torsion.
- Impact Brake™ System: System applied to the outsole that absorbs impact, aids traction and retains grip on descents, developed by La Sportiva in collaboration with Vibram®.
- OrthoLite Mountain Running Ergonomic: 4mm footbed promoting plantar ventilation and moisture evacuation, with washable antibacterial treatment and technology that prevents excessive material compression over time.
