TECHNICAL INFORMATION
- Power Shift - the system behind the "S" in the model's name. It lets you adjust cuff forward lean to 13°, 15° or 17° by repositioning a single screw, with no special tools or extra parts to buy. That means one pair of boots can adapt to different skiing styles or to skiers with a different build and stance.
- Cuff Alignment - lets you shift the cuff 2° to either side at its pivot point, for up to 4° of total lateral movement. This corrects the leg's natural alignment relative to the ski, especially useful for skiers with bowed legs or knock knees who would otherwise lose grip on one edge.
- Prolite - Atomic's next-generation lightweight shell construction, which cuts the boot's overall weight by up to 25% compared to earlier models. It only reinforces critical power-transfer zones instead of thickening the plastic evenly, resulting in a more stable boot without the weight penalty.
- Mimic Platinum - Atomic's highest-performance liner for alpine use. It includes 3M Thinsulate insulation to keep feet warm in very cold conditions, and its heat-moldable material reproduces the exact shape of the skier's foot during the in-store heat-fitting process, giving a snug fit from the very first use.
- Energy Backbone - a structural reinforcement at the back of the cuff, at the shin. Its job is to channel the energy the skier puts into starting a turn straight down to the ski's edge, improving grip and precision on the descent.
- Memory Fit - Atomic's heat-molding technology that lets the shell, cuff and liner be customized in-store. Using controlled heat, the plastic temporarily softens so a bootfitter can mold it to the exact anatomy of the skier's foot and leg, correcting pressure points without changing size or model.
