ULTRA RAPTOR II LEATHER WOMAN GTX

The La Sportiva Ultra Raptor II Leather Woman GTX carries the DNA of the iconic Ultra Raptor into a tougher, more durable leather version, built specifically for hiking on any terrain. The reinforced nubuck upper combined with the GORE-TEX membrane adds welcome extra warmth for cold or very wet mountain conditions, without giving up the lightweight agility that has always defined the Raptor family.

Reinforced nubuck leather and GORE-TEX Extended Comfort
The single-layer nubuck leather upper features compression lines that wrap the foot firmly and deliver strong stability on uneven footing, plus a microfibre reinforcement with abrasion-resistant coating in the highest-wear areas. The GORE-TEX Extended Comfort membrane keeps the foot dry and breathing in both rain and snow, performing much like a full hiking boot in terms of weather protection.

Rear heel stabiliser and Memlex EVA cushioning
The rear heel stabiliser delivers very solid control during traverses on unstable terrain, while the injected Memlex EVA midsole absorbs impact effectively without adding weight. The OrthoLite Mountain Running footbed provides extra cushioning and helps keep the foot cool during long-distance routes.

FriXion® Blue outsole with Impact Brake System™
The highly abrasion-resistant FriXion® Blue compound outsole incorporates Impact Brake System™ technology and a pronounced Trail Bite Heel lug that noticeably improves braking on descents. The shock-absorbing rubber toe cap is integrated directly into the outsole, protecting the foot against impacts with rocks and roots on any type of terrain.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

• GORE-TEX Extended Comfort: Waterproof and breathable membrane designed for use in moderate or warm conditions and higher-intensity activity. Keeps water out while perspiration easily escapes from the inside, ideal for winter use in cold or wet mountain areas.
• Nubuck leather with compression lines: Single-layer full-grain leather reinforced with technical stitching that wraps the foot and delivers lateral stability, while improving durability over conventional synthetic fabrics.
• Heel stabiliser: Rigid component at the base of the heel that delivers remarkable torsional rigidity, making the shoe very difficult to twist even when moving over uneven terrain with a load.
• Memlex EVA: Injected midsole foam offering a good balance between impact absorption and ground feel, retaining its original properties longer thanks to the injection process.
• FriXion® Blue: Highly abrasion-resistant rubber compound developed by La Sportiva, aimed at mountain running footwear and long-duration technical hiking.
