Slip-on construction and Dynamic ProTechTion™ reinforcements
The perforated AirMesh upper, with PU leather at the heel, features a sock-style construction that eliminates compression points during a run, especially valuable on multi-hour outings. The Dynamic ProTechTion™ forward reinforcements provide protection and structure at the toe without restricting the foot's natural movement, dynamically following its flex with every stride.
Cushion Platform™ midsole and OrthoLite Hybrid footbed
The injected EVA midsole combined with the Cushion Platform™ delivers generous cushioning that reduces muscle fatigue on ultra-distance races, without sacrificing the responsiveness needed on technical terrain. The OrthoLite® Hybrid Mountain Running footbed, made with 20% recycled materials, improves breathability and keeps the foot cool and dry throughout hours of continuous activity.
FriXion® Red outsole with Trail Rocker™
The FriXion® Red dual-compound outsole combines grip, wear resistance and impact absorption in a single design. The exclusive Trail Rocker™ solution promotes the natural outer-heel-to-inner-toe motion during the stride, encouraging a more efficient gait transition on long routes, while Impact Brake System™ technology improves traction and braking on every footstrike.

- Injected EVA: Midsole foam with a high degree of cushioning and elasticity that favours genuine push-off during the propulsion phase, retaining its original properties for longer thanks to the injection process.
- FriXion® Red: Dual-material rubber compound developed by La Sportiva combining grip, wear resistance and impact absorption, specifically designed for versatile long-wear outsoles.
- Trail Rocker™: Exclusive La Sportiva solution that promotes the natural outer-heel-to-inner-toe motion during the stride, encouraging a more efficient gait transition on long routes.
- Impact Brake™ System: System applied to the outsole that absorbs impact, improves traction on ascents and increases retention during braking, developed by La Sportiva in collaboration with Vibram®.
- OrthoLite® Hybrid: Footbed made with 20% recycled materials combining recycled rubber, waste foam and open-cell foam, creating a cooler, drier environment inside the shoe.
