Editorial Piolet

Editorial Piolet is a publishing house specializing in mountaineering literature, hiking guides and mountain biking. It was founded in 1990 in Barcelona as a specialist in alternative cartography. It often collaborates with writers, hiking groups, town halls or tourism promotion consortia. In 2019, it had an editorial collection of around 75 maps, around twenty guides and a dozen literary books, always on the theme of hiking or mountain life. In addition to the traditional paper format, it also publishes electronic formats compatible with satellite navigation systems
