The Scarpa Mont Blanc Lite GTX is an ultralight three-season boot built for committed technical mountaineering, via ferrata and trekking on difficult terrain. Its Sock-Fit DV construction wraps the foot with precision, while the GORE-TEX® Performance Comfort membrane delivers full waterproofing and breathability in any mountain condition.
Lightness for technical mountaineering
The 3 mm water-resistant suede upper cuts down the boot's overall weight without giving up resistance to abrasion on rocky terrain. At an approximate weight of 790 g per boot (size 42), the Mont Blanc Lite GTX ranks among the lightest options in its category for demanding ascents.
Wrapping Sock-Fit DV fit
The Sock-Fit DV construction integrates an elastic tongue with injected polyurethane ribs that spread lacing pressure evenly across the foot. The result is a snug fit with no pressure points, improving agility on technical terrain and multi-day routes.
Traction and crampon compatibility
The Vibram® Pentax Precisión XT outsole delivers reliable grip on rock, snow and ice, and is compatible with semi-automatic crampons for safe progression across glacial or snow-covered sections. The Pro Fiber 20 sockliner, made from polypropylene and fibreglass, adds torsional rigidity and stability with every step.
