Breathable Air Mesh with PU Leather reinforcements and Dynamic ProTechTion™
The perforated Air Mesh upper, thin and semi-transparent, delivers good airflow in hot conditions, while leather at the rear heel adds wear resistance and extra stability. The toe reinforced with Dynamic ProTechTion™ and the microfibre band along the sides of the forefoot protect the areas most exposed to contact with rocks and roots, without excessively penalising the shoe's overall breathability.
Rigid shank and Injection EVA midsole with Cushion Platform
Beneath the midsole, a rigid midfoot shank delivers remarkable torsional rigidity that protects the foot when stepping on hard elements, while TPU heel clips and resistant upper overlays keep the foot stable on uneven terrain with a loaded pack. The Injection EVA midsole, combined with the Cushion Platform, delivers firm cushioning that holds consistent throughout the entire route, reducing fatigue on long distances.
FriXion® White outsole with Impact Brake System™
The FriXion® White compound outsole, La Sportiva's most grippy, delivers full-confidence traction on wet surfaces or loose stone, with 4.5mm lugs that let you move comfortably through almost any type of terrain. The Impact Brake™ system positions the lugs so that as many as possible make ground contact, absorbing negative impact and improving braking on descents.
