TECHNICAL INFORMATION
- GORE-TEX®: ePTFE membrane with approximately 1.3 million micropores per cm², 20,000 times smaller than a water droplet but permeable to perspiration vapour. It forms a sealed inner bootie that blocks liquid water through surface pressure differential, without adding any visible external layers to the upper.
- optiFOAM™²: Supercritical expanded eTPU (thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer) foam — the same pellet-based technology used in Adidas Boost. The high-density closed-cell molecular structure delivers superior energy return and resilience over conventional EVA, with a 37mm heel / 29mm forefoot platform that retains its properties in cold conditions.
- Gravel contaGRIP®: Rubber compound developed specifically for the tarmac-to-gravel transition, with low-profile 2.5mm chevron lugs that minimise energy loss on hard surfaces and generate multi-directional traction on loose gravel and compact trail. Lug geometry optimised to prevent small stone accumulation between lugs.
- Engineered Mesh: Technical mesh structure with variable weave density by zone: higher rigidity and reinforcement in high-stress areas (toe cap, sidewalls) and greater openness and breathability in low-tension zones. Integrates reflective elements for enhanced visibility in low-light conditions.
