It's built with a strong in-mold construction, where the exterior shell and the impact-absorbing interior layer fuse into a lightweight package.
Strategically placed Koroyd® zones ensure maximum energy absorption in the event of a fall while simultaneously providing ventilation. The integrated MIPS® system adds an extra layer of protection by reducing rotational forces in angled impacts. The 16 vent openings and the Regulator Climate Control system give you full control over airflow, while the AirEvac™ system works in perfect harmony with Smith goggles, reducing condensation and keeping your vision clear. At just 400 g in size M, the Descend is exceptionally lightweight.
