TECHNICAL INFORMATION
- Matryx®: Technical polyamide fabric woven with individually encapsulated high-tenacity Kevlar® yarns. The integration of aramid fibers (Kevlar) into the polyamide matrix significantly multiplies tear and abrasion resistance over conventional nylon, while maintaining flexibility and vapour permeability through the open weave structure.
- activeCHASSIS: Low-profile thermoplastic frame integrated directly into the midsole platform, expanding ground contact area by 23% versus the previous generation. Its design allows natural flex around the metatarsal heads during toe-off while limiting mediolateral roll on uneven surfaces.
- optiFOAM™: Closed-cell EVA with an updated formulation balancing cushioning and response: more reactive than the previous generation through increased foam density, with a 34mm heel / 26mm forefoot platform that delivers protection without disconnecting from the terrain.
- All-Terrain contaGRIP®: Rubber compound with a stepped 4mm lug pattern redesigned for the Genesis 2, with bite zones oriented in the direction of maximum load (climbing and braking) and evacuation channels between lugs to clear particles and maintain grip on mixed terrain.
- endoFit™: Structural inner sleeve built on the last that distributes lacing pressure evenly across the instep, acting as an interface between the foot and upper to eliminate friction points without adding extra material layers.
- quickLACE™: High-tenacity cable with instant-lock system transmitting tension evenly to all eyelets simultaneously, with an integrated lace garage in the tongue to store excess lace and prevent snagging during the run.
