The KAYLAND GRIMPEUR AD W'S GTX is a technical approach shoe designed specifically for women, ideal for combining ride & climb: perfect for pedalling to the start of a route and then tackling climbing or technical trekking. Its asymmetric last, wider at the toe and narrower at the heel and ankle, respects the anatomy of the female foot and delivers an ultra-sensitive response with every step. The Vibram® Gravity (Full Megagrip) outsole and the Gore-Tex® Extended Comfort membrane complete a lightweight, precise and waterproof shoe, ready for any mixed or rocky terrain.
Asymmetric last designed for women
The Grimpeur AD W'S GTX features a last specific to the female foot, wider at the toes and narrower at the heel and ankle, delivering an ultra-sensitive response at every contact point. This construction, designed for technical approach, provides the precision needed both for climbing and for pedalling to the start of the route.
Gore-Tex® Extended Comfort membrane and full waterproofing
The Gore-Tex® Extended Comfort membrane guarantees full waterproofing without giving up breathability, while the mesh upper with stitch-free PU applications protects against abrasion and keeps the shoe light. The moulded open-cell PU foam sockliner, combined with fabric, adds an extra layer of comfort with every step.
Vibram® Gravity outsole and Ankle Lock System fit
The Vibram® Gravity outsole, with Full Megagrip compound, delivers exceptional grip even on wet surfaces, while the moulded two-tone EVA midsole absorbs impact with every stride. The asymmetric-tongue lacing, together with the Ankle Lock System technology, keeps the heel firmly in position with comfortable padding around the ankle.
