LX 90 HV

The Lange LX 90 HV is a men's alpine ski boot with a 90 flex and a 102 mm forefoot last, built for skiers who want a roomy fit without giving up the brand's characteristic performance. The Dual Core shell in Lyfran combines plastics of different hardness to deliver efficiency, power and precision with every flex.

The Easy Step Insert, built into the instep area, makes it easier to open the shell for a more comfortable entry and exit. The Dual 3D Comfort liner with Power Wedge Tongue wraps the foot consistently, while the Natural Stance position, with a lower ramp angle, favors a more neutral balance and more efficient power transfer, reducing quad fatigue. Four Alu Race aluminum buckles and a 40 mm velcro power strap complete the closure, and the GripWalk sole, mounted as standard, improves grip and walking comfort off the skis.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

• Dual Core - A process that simultaneously injects rigid and soft plastics into targeted zones of the shell, using a "power injection" method through several entry points. Hard plastic is directed to the areas that transmit power to the ski, while soft plastic wraps the foot and lower leg. The result is greater elastic tension, delivering more response and rebound when flexing.
• Easy Step Insert - A softer plastic insert molded over the instep area of the lower shell. It allows the shell overlap to open with less effort, making entry and exit easier. Especially useful for skiers who want to speed up putting on and taking off the boot several times a day.
• Natural Stance - A boot geometry with a lower ramp angle (4°) and a more neutral, upright stance compared to traditional designs. It favors balance and control while skiing, improving the efficiency of power transfer to the ski. It reduces quad fatigue during long days on the slopes.
• Power Wedge Tongue - A liner tongue designed to distribute shin pressure evenly when flexing forward. It contributes to a more consistent and progressive flex feel throughout the boot. It's combined with the rest of the Dual 3D Comfort liner to improve overall fit.
• GripWalk® - A sole with a thick rubber tread and a convex toe profile, designed to improve traction and natural foot roll while walking off the skis. It includes integrated stiff pads that guarantee optimal power transmission and correct Alpine release function. An alternative Alpine DIN sole is sold separately.
