NORDIC

The Nortec NORDIC crampon is designed for trail running, trekking and light mountaineering, while also being suited to training on dry, wet or muddy grassland and winter outdoor running. Its 21 steel spikes of 8 mm, spread across three crampon plates, guarantee excellent control on ice and hard snow, while the twisted stainless steel chain reinforces grip and overall reliability.

The high-tech silicone elastomer, tested down to -60 °C, allows for a quick and comfortable fit, and its special "eight-shape" connectors (patent pending) prevent the rivets from releasing even in the toughest conditions. The shape of the plates at opposite ends improves stability and stride comfort even with light shoes, and the crampon stores in a compact case with a plastic hook and two separate pockets to save time when fitting.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

• Silicone elastomer -60 °C — The crampon body is made from a high-tech silicone elastomer tested at extreme temperatures, allowing it to keep its flexibility and fit even in severe cold, preventing the material from stiffening or losing elasticity.
• "Eight-shape" connectors — This connection system, currently patent pending, joins the rivets to the elastomer through an eight-shaped geometry that prevents them from releasing even under the toughest conditions, offering greater reliability than conventional connection systems.
• Twisted stainless steel chain — The chain, twisted during manufacturing, improves grip on uneven surfaces and ensures high reliability and wear resistance, while also preventing corrosion thanks to the stainless steel used.
• Plates at opposite ends — The specific shape of the crampon plates at their opposite ends improves overall stability and stride comfort, even when used with lightweight trail running shoes.
