TECHNICAL INFORMATION

• GORE-TEX®: ePTFE membrane with approximately 1.3 million micropores per cm², 20,000 times smaller than a water droplet but permeable to perspiration vapour. It blocks liquid water through surface pressure differential while evacuating vapour generated during exertion, guaranteeing durable waterproofing day after day.
• 4D advancedCHASSIS™: Four-dimensional geometry plastic chassis between the outsole and midsole. It acts simultaneously across four planes: lateral heel containment, longitudinal torsion absorption, metatarsal protection against terrain elements, and forward propulsion guidance. Compared to the 3D advancedCHASSIS™ used in trail running shoes, this profile is more enveloping and robust to manage backpack loads and extended technical terrain.
• Nubuck leather: Full-grain leather abraded on the surface, which compacts the fibres and increases abrasion resistance. It retains maintenance waterproofing agents and develops a characteristic patina with prolonged use.
• EnergyCell™: High-performance EVA foam that progressively absorbs impact. In loaded trekking boots, the medium-hardness formulation balances impact absorption on technical descents with energy return on ascents.
• sensiFIT™: Construction that wraps the foot from the midsole to the lacing system, distributing lacing pressure evenly around the entire foot profile. Especially relevant in loaded boots where heel retention and lateral stability are critical over hours of use.
