RECON 110 BOA

The K2 Recon 110 BOA is a men's alpine ski boot that combines aggressive on-piste performance with a forgiving edge in soft snow and tight trees. Its Powerlite shell, light and fully heat-moldable, pairs with a BOA® closure on the lower shell that wraps the foot with even pressure, more precise than traditional buckles that only clamp from the top.

The PowerFuse SpYne, a rear co-injected "Y"-shaped design, reinforces the Energy Interlock system to maximize fore/aft flex efficiency and lateral stiffness across all terrain. The LuxFit Pro liner, made of pre-molded, heat-moldable Ultralon foam with an asymmetric tongue and high-density collar, molds to the foot for extra comfort all day. The modular Honeycomb bootboard retains heat in specific cavities, and the interchangeable GripWalk® ISO 23223 soles improve grip when walking off the snow.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

• Powerlite Shell - A lightweight injected shell built with varying wall thicknesses and four TPU stiffnesses, balancing minimal weight with responsiveness. Reduces leg fatigue on long days on-piste. It is fully heat-moldable for a better custom fit to the skier's foot.
• BOA® Fit System - A dial closure on the lower shell that replaces or complements traditional buckles, allowing millimetric on-the-fly adjustments. Spreads pressure evenly across the instep, avoiding localized pressure points. The dial features a breakaway design in case of a hard impact.
• PowerFuse SpYne - A rear co-injected "Y"-shaped piece that reinforces the Energy Interlock system between cuff and shell. Optimizes fore/aft flex efficiency and lateral stiffness, cutting down on vibration over rough terrain. Lets K2 lighten materials without losing responsiveness.
• LuxFit Pro Liner - A pre-molded, heat-moldable liner in Ultralon foam, with an asymmetric tongue and high-density collar. Strikes a balance between performance and comfort for long days on-piste. Molds to the foot through heat-molding to reduce pressure points.
• Honeycomb Bootboard - A honeycomb-structured bootboard with interchangeable modular heel inserts. A softer insert dampens more, while a firmer one improves power transfer. Helps keep the foot warmer and reduces fatigue on long days.
• GripWalk® - A sole standard that replaces the classic flat profile of ski boots with a rockered shape offering more traction for walking off the snow. Improves stability and safety on asphalt, ice, or uneven ground, provided the binding is compatible with the system.
