The S/PRO HV R90 GW alpine ski boots by Salomon are built for skiers with high-volume feet who want comfort without sacrificing performance. The wide 102 mm last, combined with the heat-moldable shell featuring Custom Shell™ HD technology, allows the boot to be shaped to the exact foot morphology, while the 90 flex offers a solid balance of progressiveness and control both on-piste and in all-mountain terrain.
Inside, the boot features the My CustomFit™ 3D Seamless liner, heat-moldable and free of internal or external stitching, improving foothold and delivering a warmer feel throughout the day. The Coreframe 360° insert adds lightness and structural stiffness, the Dual SensiFit™ insert eases step-in on both sides of the shell, and the premounted GripWalk sole improves grip and walking comfort off the slopes.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
- Custom Shell™ HD — Custom Shell™ HD technology lets bootfitters heat-mold the lower shell, or the shell and cuff together, in around 10 minutes. Thinner-wall construction and plastic materials bring the foot closer to the shell, improving sensitivity and power transmission to the ski. The result is a tailored fit that reduces pressure points without sacrificing stiffness or control.
- Coreframe 360° — This is a fiberglass insert built into the shell that adds lightness without giving up the stiffness needed for solid on-piste performance. Its role is to guarantee consistent, predictable flex on every turn, avoiding energy loss. It's one of the technical hallmarks that defines Salomon's S/PRO range.
- Dual SensiFit™ insert — These soft polyurethane inserts, placed on both sides of the shell, noticeably ease stepping in and out of the boot. They also provide an anatomical wrap around the instep that improves foothold without creating pressure points. They're especially useful on wide-last boots like this one.
- My CustomFit™ 3D Seamless — This pre-shaped, anatomically designed liner is built without internal or external stitching, improving foothold and precision while delivering a warmer feel throughout the day. Without seams, it reduces the risk of chafing points on long sessions. It's one of the signature features of Salomon's S/PRO range.
- GripWalk ISO 23223 — The GripWalk sole, certified under the ISO 23223 standard, comes premounted from the factory and features a specific profile that noticeably improves grip and walking comfort on icy or uneven surfaces off the slopes. Its design also enables more efficient energy transfer between the boot and the binding while skiing. It's the ideal solution for anyone who alternates walking with on-piste ski days.
- Oversized pivot — This larger-than-standard alignment pivot connects the cuff to the lower shell and allows precise adjustment of the boot's lateral lean relative to the leg. It promotes more direct force transmission and more balanced gliding on every turn. The setup is done at a specialty shop, without needing to modify the shell.
