The La Sportiva TX4 Evo GTX is the leather shoe with a waterproof GORE-TEX membrane, developed to guarantee maximum stability and grip even on the roughest terrain. Ideal for technical approaches and easy climbing routes, it offers unrivalled comfort thanks to the upper materials and roomy internal construction, integrating a supportive internal structure with the STB Control System™ for enhanced torsional stability.
GORE-TEX Extended Comfort and resistant suede leather
The Bluesign®-certified GORE-TEX Extended Comfort membrane keeps the shoe waterproof and breathable even during prolonged use, in moderate and warm conditions or during higher activity levels. The suede leather upper, reinforced with a PU-Tech Lite protective trim and a protective rubber toe cap, delivers great durability and abrasion resistance in the shoe's most exposed areas.
Climbing Zone, STB Control™ and Resole Platform™
The wide Climbing Zone at the toe guarantees precision and grip on technical sections and climbing manoeuvres. The Mythos-inspired lacing system allows for easy adjustment and pleasant comfort throughout the entire walking route. The compression-moulded EVA midsole delivers balanced cushioning and a stable response, while the Resole Platform™ system allows the shoe to be resoled without compromising its original structure, extending its service life and reducing environmental impact.
Vibram® MegaGrip outsole with Impact Brake System™
The Vibram® MegaGrip outsole with the Impact Brake System™ delivers outstanding grip on rock, dirt and mixed surfaces, optimising traction on ascents and control on descents. The intelligent lug positioning keeps most of them in contact with the ground on footstrike, improving impact absorption and increasing traction and grip in any weather condition.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
- GORE-TEX Extended Comfort: Membrane designed for indoor and outdoor use in moderate and warmer conditions or during higher activity levels. Durably waterproof combined with optimised breathability, keeping water on the outside while perspiration easily escapes from the inside thanks to its non-insulated construction.
- STB Control System™: Internal support structure guaranteeing enhanced torsional stability, controlling foot rotation on uneven terrain and improving safety with every step.
- Climbing Zone: Wide reinforced toe area guaranteeing precision and excellent grip while climbing, allowing precise placements on small holds and delicate technical passages.
- Impact Brake™ System: Innovative system applied to the outsole that absorbs impact, aids traction and retains grip on descents. Conceived and developed by La Sportiva®'s R&D department in collaboration with Vibram®, it reduces negative ground impact thanks to the specific lug angle.
- Vibram® MegaGrip: High-performance rubber compound ensuring outstanding grip on rock, dirt and mixed surfaces, with intelligent lug positioning that maximises ground contact.
- Resole Platform™: Patented midsole insert allowing the shoe to be resoled by replacing only the tread with original La Sportiva components, extending the shoe's life cycle without affecting its technical performance.
