The La Sportiva Ultra Raptor 3 carries over a decade of heritage from one of the most respected mountain trail running lines, now firmly repositioned as a day-hiking shoe. It pairs a highly breathable mesh upper with the rugged protection that has always defined the Raptor family, resulting in an agile shoe capable of handling long, technical routes without sacrificing comfort.

Breathable Air-Mesh upper with microfibre reinforcements
The highly breathable Air-Mesh upper keeps the foot cool even on the hottest hikes, while the interior lining with anti-friction microfibre insert prevents chafing in areas of prolonged contact. The sock-style collar with a heel pull tab makes it easy to get the shoe on and keeps dust, gravel and small stones out on the move, while the integrated lacing system with stitched loops distributes tension evenly across the entire instep.

Dual-density midsole and TPU stabilisers
The dual-density CM-EVA midsole combines a softer forefoot zone with a firmer structure under the heel, striking a balance between cushioning and stability on uneven terrain. External TPU stabilisers on both sides of the heel reinforce control on unstable footing, while the 5mm OrthoLite® Hybrid Mountain Hiking footbed delivers sustained comfort throughout a full day on the trail.

FriXion® White outsole with Impact Brake System™
The FriXion® White rubber compound outsole, developed specifically for high-performance mountain running, delivers outstanding grip on both demanding ascents and technical descents. The patented Impact Brake System™ technology absorbs the impact of every stride and improves traction through a lug positioning that maximises ground contact, while the toe cap and side rubber reinforcements protect the foot against rocks and roots.
