The La Sportiva Ultra Raptor 3 GTX brings GORE-TEX waterproof protection to the rugged Raptor platform, built for hikers who don't want to let the weather stop them. A durable ripstop fabric, rubber reinforcements at the toe and sides, and an integrated gaiter collar that seals out stones and gravel make this a reliable companion for both long-distance routes and local outings in changeable conditions.
Ripstop fabric and GORE-TEX ePE Extended Comfort
The durable ripstop exterior withstands constant contact with rocks and roots, reinforced with a toe cap and side rubber bands in the highest-wear zones. The GORE-TEX ePE Extended Comfort interior lining delivers full waterproofing without sacrificing breathability, while the integrated gaiter collar keeps stones, gravel and other debris out while hiking on loose terrain.
Combined midsole and flex grooves
The midsole combines a softer material at the front with a more structured layer under the heel, improving support on uneven footholds. Flex grooves distributed along the outsole increase freedom of movement on scrambles and technical steps, while the TPU heel reinforcement adds extra stability with every footstrike.
FriXion® White outsole with Impact Brake System™
The FriXion® White compound outsole combined with the patented Impact Brake System™ technology delivers exceptional grip for both pulling traction on ascents and controlling descents on slippery ground. The lug design, developed together with Vibram, reduces negative terrain impact and keeps maximum ground contact with every footstrike.
