The La Sportiva Ultra Raptor II Woman GTX brings GORE-TEX Extended Comfort waterproof protection to the rugged Ultra Raptor platform, in a wider-fit version adapted to the female foot morphology, stable and enveloping, perfect for any terrain demanding speed and stability across long-distance miles. The GORE-TEX membrane lining allows breathability while keeping water out, making it ideal for winter running too.
Resistant Air Mesh and GORE-TEX Extended Comfort
The abrasion-resistant Air Mesh exterior, with a coated microfibre reinforcement band, maintains shoe durability even with constant contact against vegetation and rock, without fully sacrificing breathability. The GORE-TEX Extended Comfort lining keeps the foot dry in any weather condition, while the "Easy-in" PU leather insert at the heel adds extra stability and makes it easier to slip the foot in.
Rigid shank and Injection EVA midsole with Cushion Platform
The rigid midfoot shank hidden within the midsole delivers remarkable torsional rigidity that protects the foot when stepping on hard elements, while TPU heel clips and resistant upper overlays keep the foot stable on uneven terrain even with a loaded pack. The Injection EVA midsole, combined with the Cushion Platform, delivers firm, consistent cushioning throughout the entire route, reducing fatigue on long days.
FriXion® White outsole with Impact Brake System™
The FriXion® White compound outsole, La Sportiva's most grippy, guarantees confidence on wet surfaces, damp rock or loose stone. The Impact Brake™ system positions the lugs strategically to maximise ground contact, absorbing negative terrain impact and improving traction on both ascents and technical descents.
