The Rossignol Vizion 4B Pro 100 MV GW is an on-piste ski boot with a medium 100 mm last that introduces Step In Technology: an overlap shell that opens widely at the back thanks to a spoiler and an articulated Spine Link Mechanism, allowing effortless entry and exit unlike anything else in a 4-buckle boot. The bi-injected spoiler combines rigid PU for power transmission with soft rubber sides that seal the closure, while Dual Core technology targets shell stiffness for a livelier rebound and more precise control.
The Double Buckle on the lower cuff unlocks the spoiler for entry and locks it in ski position via a sturdy steel spine, without giving up the hold of a traditional boot. The True Form Step-In liner, pre-shaped and fully customizable, features Thinsulate® Stretch insulation at the forefoot and a Seamless Toe Box that reduces pressure points and heat loss. GripWalk® soles come pre-mounted from the factory, improving grip and walking naturalness off the boot.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
- Step In Technology — This is the boot's entry system, based on a traditional overlap shell that opens widely at the back. Combined with an articulated spoiler, it lets you slide the foot in with a single simple motion, without having to force the cuff as with a conventional boot, while retaining all the stiffness of a 4-buckle boot once closed.
- Spine Link Mechanism — This is an articulated steel spine that anchors the cuff's release mechanism. When locked, it holds the spoiler in traditional ski position, delivering the hold of a conventional boot. When released, it lets the boot open wide toward the back for nearly effortless entry and exit.
- Dual Core — This process simultaneously injects two different plastic durometers in a single manufacturing step, creating a sandwich-type construction within the shell. This targeted distribution of stiffness allows a more precise wrap around the foot and leg, producing a livelier rebound and more direct control while skiing.
- True Form Step-In Liner — This is the inner liner designed specifically for this entry system, pre-shaped and fully customizable, with elastic zones that follow the cuff's movement as it reclines. It delivers the feel and fit of a traditional high-performance liner without sacrificing the ease of entry and exit that defines the Step In system.
- Thinsulate® Stretch — This is a flexible insulating material built into the forefoot area of the liner that retains body heat without adding bulk or stiffness. Its stretch follows the foot's movement, maintaining thermal comfort on long days or in intense cold.
- Seamless Toe Box — This is a one-piece toe box with no internal seams, eliminating pressure points on the toes and cutting heat loss in that area by up to 20%. It improves overall foot comfort throughout the ski day, especially in cold conditions.
- GripWalk® — This is a curved-profile, rubber-surfaced sole system that comes pre-mounted at the factory on this model, replacing the traditional flat alpine ski sole. It significantly improves traction and walking naturalness off the ski, and requires bindings compatible with the GripWalk standard.
