All orders will be shipped to the address indicated by the buyer. The order will be processed once payment has been made and payment confirmed. Shipments will be made daily, except on non-working days.

The order will be received at its destination under the following terms:

Spain and Portugal:

For shipments within the Peninsula, the order will be delivered by a courier company (SEUR or MRW) within 48-72 hours after payment confirmation from the bank (always considering working days and excluding local or national holidays in both the sending and receiving countries).

Shipping costs are automatically calculated through the website based on the destination country and will be detailed during the order process.

Shipping within the Iberian Peninsula will be free for orders over €50.

Specifications

The iconic knife in a "black" version!

A combination of oak and black steel for a contemporary reinterpretation of the timeless No. 08. The black finish on the blade and bolster is achieved through a specific surface treatment (PVD coating) that enhances its corrosion resistance (suitable for contact with food). The oak handle, sourced from French forests, is protected with varnish.

Martensitic Stainless Steel

Hardness 55-57 HRC. European origin.

The stainless steel used in OPINEL knives is an optimized grade to guarantee both high corrosion resistance and high mechanical performance.

The blade has an excellent edge and high abrasion resistance, allowing it to withstand regular contact with hard materials, such as ceramics, before needing to be resharpened. Stainless steel has the advantage of requiring no maintenance under normal use, unlike carbon steel. However, it can reach its limits when exposed to harsh environments for extended periods (acids, salt water, detergents, etc.).

Matte Black Blade

This black stainless steel blade has a matte finish and is more corrosion-resistant than a standard stainless steel blade. This blade is more susceptible to scratches, so be careful not to use abrasive sponges or products to clean it.

Handle

Oak is a hardwood, particularly resistant to insects and fungi due to its high tannin content. Sourced from French forests, it has a yellowish-brown appearance with straight, regular grain. The varnished handle is protected from stains and moisture.
