The Wildfire 2 Gore-Tex® is a technical, waterproof, and breathable women's approach shoe, specifically engineered for rapid mountain approaches, technical scrambling, and easy alpine climbs with maximum security and pinpoint precision.
This women's high-performance shoe stands out for incorporating a GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining that delivers absolute waterproof protection against rain and mud while maintaining superior internal breathability. The upper is constructed from a robust, high-durability recycled mesh paired with a stretch gaiter tongue, strategically reinforced with a lateral framework of Kevlar® cables and our patented SALEWA® 3F system. This combination wraps anatomically around the foot to deliver superior flexibility, a precise fit, and exceptional ankle and heel lockdown.
The shoe's technical versatility is elevated by the innovative Switchfit adjustment system, which allows you to quickly shift from hike mode to climb mode using an additional eyelet that pulls the foot forward, drastically improving performance and precision on small footholds and narrow rock edges. It features the customizable Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+), allowing you to fine-tune the shoe's interior volume for customized comfort. The Pomoca™ Speed Mtn outsole, engineered with S-Path footway guidance technology and a specific climbing zone at the toe box, features aggressive lugs for reliable traction on mud and extraordinary friction on dry or wet rock.
