The Wildfire 2 is a technical, lightweight, agile, and precise women's approach shoe featuring a recycled mesh upper and a 360° protective TPU rand. It is an ideal shoe for mountain approaches, technical routes, and easy alpine climbs.
It features a sustainable upper where the Wildfire 2 incorporates a robust and breathable recycled synthetic upper paired with a PFC-free lining. A reinforced front TPU film rand provides additional protection against abrasion, while the lateral network with Kevlar® cables and our patented SALEWA® 3F system significantly improve overall performance, delivering optimal anatomical support and sensitivity.
In terms of technical precision and sensitivity, the POMOCA® outsole with a high-performance butyl compound rubber is engineered to provide precision and sensitivity on mixed mountain terrain, guaranteeing an excellent grip and friction on rock, under both dry and wet conditions. Additionally, the Switchfit adjustment system allows you to quickly shift from hike mode to climb mode using the additional eyelet, delivering enhanced performance on smaller edges. Designed for technical terrain, the Wildfire 2 features a cushioning EVA midsole to provide a comfortable wrapping fit, optimizing comfort during walking and trekking sessions, complemented by Climbing Lacing to provide an excellent fit in the toe box area.
