The Wildfire Leather Gore-Tex® is a robust and highly versatile women's low-cut technical approach shoe crafted from high-quality leather, engineered for everyday use, hiking, and climbing across technical alpine terrain.
This female-specific model stands out for delivering an encompassing, wrapping fit alongside an optimal level of structural support, making it excellent for light approaches and alpine hiking. Its premium 1.4 mm suede upper combines outstanding durability with a soft and supple feel, remaining fully guarded from trail abrasion by a polyurethane protective rand and heavy-duty Kevlar® cables. The integration of a waterproof and highly breathable GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining, coupled with an elastic gaiter-equipped tongue, guarantees solid protection against rapidly changing mountain weather, keeping feet dry while enabling interior moisture to escape quickly.
To ensure maximum stability on technical routes and scrambling sections, it features a sturdy core reinforcement of Kevlar® cables tied to Salewa's signature 3F system, providing firm and precise wrap around the heel and ankle zones. The POMOCA Speed MTN Path outsole delivers magnificent grip and reliable contact underfoot through an aggressive lug layout that ensures high traction over softer ground. Concurrently, the integrated S-Path technology promotes a smoother, more natural stride when walking, while the front climbing zone provides excellent friction on rocks and narrow ledges.
The extended Climbing Lacing system allows for micro-adjustable precision that enhances the shoe's anatomical wrap, easily adapting to individual female foot shapes. On the inside, it incorporates a breathable OrthoLite footbed that elevates overall comfort, provides long-lasting underfoot cushioning, and quickly manages moisture to keep feet dry and prevent rubbing during long journeys.
