The Salomon X-Adventure Recon GORE-TEX is the dependable, versatile hiking shoe directly inspired by the iconic XA Pro: a robust nubuck leather upper protecting the foot against trails and weather, a waterproof GORE-TEX membrane and an All-Terrain Contagrip® outsole delivering grip in any condition. Durable construction with nubuck leather and GORE-TEX protection
The robust upper combines full-grain nubuck leather with a resistant mesh fabric, guaranteeing lasting use and protection against abrasion from roots, rocks and vegetation. The integrated GORE-TEX membrane keeps feet dry both inside and out, while the reinforced toe cap and mudguard complete comprehensive protection against the elements in any weather condition.
advancedCHASSIS™ stability and EnergyCell™ cushioning
The advancedCHASSIS™ embedded in the outsole provides stability and protection on steep and uneven terrain without compromising the natural flexibility of the foot. The EVA EnergyCell™ midsole delivers excellent cushioning that maintains comfort on long routes and technical terrain, allowing you to tackle both demanding climbs and committing descents with full confidence.
All-terrain versatility with dedicated Contagrip® outsole
The dedicated outsole and lug geometry combine with All-Terrain Contagrip® rubber to deliver exceptional grip on wet, dry, hard or slippery surfaces. The traditional eyelet lacing system allows fast, secure adjustment, while the removable OrthoLite® footbed adds cushioning and breathability with every step.
