The Salomon X Ultra 4 Mid GORE-TEX W is the mid-cut hiking boot engineered specifically for the female foot: a lower-density ADV-C chassis, softer collar and tongue and an anatomical enveloping design that wraps around the shape of a woman's foot, backed by full GORE-TEX waterproof protection and the complete X-ULTRA technology package to tackle any technical terrain with agility and confidence.

GORE-TEX waterproofing and full protection
The integrated GORE-TEX membrane seals the foot against rain, mud and moisture, while the perimeter mudguard and reinforced toe cap protect the boot from abrasion against rocks and vegetation. The textile interior lining combines durability with active moisture management to maintain comfort kilometre after kilometre on full-day routes.

Redesigned chassis for maximum stability without sacrificing agility
The new advancedCHASSIS™ acts directly on the outer foot joints to optimise lateral stability without restricting freedom of movement, while the EnergyCell™ high-performance EVA foam midsole provides firm cushioning and real ground contact: ideal for technical terrain where proprioception matters. The result is a boot that is notably light for its level of protection.

All-terrain grip and precise fit
The All-Terrain Contagrip® outsole with high-density rubber lugs delivers reliable traction on wet, dry or slippery surfaces, with heel-specific lugs for safe braking on descents. The SensiFit™ system wraps the foot from the midsole to the conventional lacing system for a firm, customisable hold, while the seamless welded upper eliminates friction points from the very first wear.
