The Salomon X Ultra 4 Mid GTX is a mid-cut hiking boot that combines the agility of a trail running shoe with the stability and protection of a technical boot. A lightweight yet capable model, built for reliable performance on any trail.
Renewed stability
The ADV-C Chassis™ acts on the foot's articulations to optimize stability without limiting mobility, while the Active Support system reinforces heel hold and increases ankle protection. The mid-cut design adds extra support on technical sections and uneven terrain.
Grip and waterproofing on any terrain
The All Terrain Contagrip® outsole, with deep-penetrating lugs, delivers multidirectional grip on soft surfaces like mud or loose dirt, plus reliable traction on wet or slippery ground. The GORE-TEX® membrane keeps feet dry at all times, including during water crossings and extended damp conditions.
Comfort without compromising on weight
The EnergyCell™ high-performance EVA foam midsole cushions every step, and the molded OrthoLite® sockliner, paired with SensiFit™ technology, connects the midsole to the lacing system for a snug fit right out of the box. The upper combines PU-coated leather and water-resistant textile for superior protection and durability.
