The Salomon X Ward Leather GORE-TEX is a low-cut trekking shoe that combines the proven lower unit and chassis from one of Salomon's best-selling trail models with a new upper featuring classic lines, premium materials and a waterproof GORE-TEX membrane. Stability and protection on uneven terrain
The Advanced Chassis™, a moulded insert integrated into the outsole, delivers powerful lateral support and secure protection, keeping the foot stable when the path turns rocky, uneven and unexplored. The reinforced toe cap and protective heel counter defend the foot against impacts from rocks and roots, while the robust premium suede leather upper provides exceptional resistance to wear and abrasion.
Total waterproofing and classic elegance
The GORE-TEX® membrane keeps feet dry inside and out, delivering total waterproofing without sacrificing breathability. The outer fabric also features a special water-repellent treatment that prevents water absorption during light rain and showers. Multidirectional grip and wraparound fit
The Mud Contagrip® outsole features a lug design with deep penetration and multidirectional grip, improving traction on soft surfaces such as mud and loose dirt. The EnergyCell™ high-performance EVA foam midsole cushions impacts, and the moulded OrthoLite® insole delivers superior cushioning and breathability.
