With an enveloping fit, a resistant and robust Matryx® upper and waterproof GORE-TEX Invisible Fit protection, this shoe takes you from point A to wherever point Z may be.
French manufacturing and Matryx® upper with Kevlar®
The upper has been completely redesigned with a simple collar, no excessive padding, and a minimalist tongue, all aimed at reducing weight without losing functionality. The Matryx® fabric integrates individually coated high-tenacity Kevlar® yarn that resists abrasion from alpine and technical terrain while keeping the shoe lightweight and breathable. Produced in France through the partnership between Salomon and ASF 4.0, reducing environmental impact and contributing to the relocation of jobs and technical expertise.
GORE-TEX Invisible Fit and 3D advancedCHASSIS™ stability
The GORE-TEX Invisible Fit membrane integrates directly into the interior of the shoe without additional layers, delivering total waterproof protection without penalising weight or fit. The 3D advancedCHASSIS™, positioned between the outsole and midsole, is a low-profile chassis that optimises motion control and energy management, providing protection for a precise, stable and reactive stride even on rocky and unfamiliar terrain.
All-terrain Contagrip® grip and Quicklace™ fit
The All-Terrain Contagrip® outsole delivers durability and confidence on wet, dry, hard or slippery surfaces, with a robust toe cap that reinforces protection with every contact with the terrain. The EnergyCell™ high-performance EVA foam midsole cushions impact, while the Quicklace™ system allows fast and minimalist single-pull adjustment, with an integrated pocket to stow the excess lace.

- Matryx®: High-performance fabric integrating individually coated high-tenacity Kevlar® yarn alongside technical thread. Resists abrasion from alpine and technical terrain while keeping the shoe lightweight and breathable. The same base material used in climbing ropes and protective equipment.
- 3D advancedCHASSIS™: Low-profile chassis positioned between the outsole and midsole that optimises motion control and energy management, providing protection for a precise, stable and reactive stride on uncertain terrain.
- EnergyCell™: High-performance EVA foam in the midsole that cushions repeated impacts with every stride, ideal for trail sessions on demanding alpine terrain.
- All-Terrain Contagrip®: Outsole developed by Salomon ensuring good grip on both tarmac and rock, dry or wet. Delivers a perfect balance of density, compounds and geometry for optimal traction.
