XA PRO 3D V9 STORM from Salomon for women evokes the intensity of a snowstorm in this special-edition trail shoe. An icon among icons, as reliable as it is familiar, highly stable and durable. Now with even more grip and protection over long distances, a tailored lug pattern, and All-Terrain contaGRIP®. Tough enough to take on the most demanding adventures.
Proven stability and control
The 3D advancedCHASSIS™, a low-profile chassis between the outsole and midsole, optimises movement control and energy management for a precise, stable, reactive stride on any terrain. The protective toe cap shields against impact in the most technical moments.
Cushioning and grip on all terrain
The EnergyCell™+ midsole delivers exceptional energy return with substantial cushioning and durability. The All Terrain contaGRIP® outsole with 3.5mm lugs provides reliable traction on wet, dry, hard, or slippery surfaces.
Fast and precise fit
The quickLACE™ system delivers a single-pull adjustment with a minimalist profile that adds no weight or bulk. Combined with the Storm special-edition design, this shoe is as functional as it is distinctive on the trail.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
- 3D advancedCHASSIS™: Low-profile plastic chassis encapsulated between the outsole and midsole with three-dimensional geometry. Acts as a selective torsion frame: rigid longitudinally to limit excessive flex on technical descents, and flexible transversally to allow natural adaptation to ground irregularities, reducing joint fatigue on long days.
- EnergyCell™+: High-density EVA compound optimised to maximise energy return at each compression/decompression cycle. The "+" version increases resilience over standard EnergyCell, with greater shape-recovery capacity after repeated impacts.
- All-Terrain contaGRIP®: Medium-hardness rubber compound with 3.5mm omnidirectionally oriented lugs, designed for the widest spectrum of surfaces and prioritising durability in intensive long-distance use over mixed terrain.
- quickLACE™: Single high-resistance lace system with integrated eyelets in the upper. A single pull distributes pressure evenly across the instep without creating localised pressure points; excess lace stores in the tongue pocket.
