The real hybrid character shows up in the Speed Lock 4 Ski/Walk system: a reinforced aluminum mechanism that handles the switch between downhill and uphill mode in a single motion, even with gloves on, and unlocks up to 61° of range of motion so every stride uphill feels as natural as possible.
