The La Sportiva Aequilibrium Hike GTX Woman is the women's version of this mid-cut hiking boot, built with the same philosophy of agility and protection on mixed mountain terrain. Constructed from anti-abrasion synthetic fabric with a 100% waterproof GORE-TEX Extended Comfort membrane, it keeps feet dry and comfortable in all weather conditions, with the Aequilibrium last shaped for the female foot for a more precise and comfortable fit.
Ankle technology and mobility
The 3D Flex System Evo™ incorporates a multi-directional hinge at the ankle that allows a natural range of foot movement while providing support and stability on uneven surfaces. The AirMesh collar and anatomical upper profile deliver a precise fit without restricting freedom of movement, making this boot a reliable partner on technical ascents and descents alike.
Vibram outsole with Impact Brake System™
The Vibram® Spring-Lug outsole integrates the Impact Brake System™, whose lug geometry with slanted and opposing angles maximises uphill traction and improves braking control on the way down. The lug layout is designed to bring as many studs as possible into simultaneous ground contact, absorbing impact and increasing grip on rock, soil, and mud. The outsole is also resoleable, extending the overall lifespan of the boot.
Sustainable and long-lasting construction
The laces are made from 100% recycled materials, and the Ortholite® Hybrid insole incorporates recycled rubber and foam from production waste. The midsole combines polyurethane foam with an anti-abrasion TPU film and a 5mm polypropylene stiffener that provides the right degree of rigidity for demanding terrain without compromising flexibility. Toe and heel reinforcements complete a boot engineered for durability and long-distance hiking.

- GORE-TEX Extended Comfort: A next-generation waterproof and breathable membrane made from ePE (expanded polyethylene) and Bluesign® certified. It keeps feet dry in wet conditions while maintaining active breathability during sustained effort.
- 3D Flex System Evo™: A multi-directional articulation system patented by La Sportiva, positioned at the ankle. It allows natural, fluid foot movement in all directions while maintaining the lateral support needed on irregular terrain.
- Impact Brake System™: A lug design system developed by La Sportiva in collaboration with Vibram®. The inclined and opposing lug arrangement maximises ground contact points, absorbing impact forces and improving braking control on descents.
- Vibram® Spring-Lug: Vibram® rubber outsole with Spring-Lug profile designed for hiking across varied terrain. Vibram rubber delivers high abrasion resistance and reliable traction on rock, packed earth, and wet surfaces.
- Resoleable outsole: The sole construction allows replacement at La Sportiva-approved cobblers, significantly extending the boot's usable life and reducing its environmental footprint.
- Ortholite® Hybrid: A hybrid-composition insole incorporating recycled rubber and foam derived from production process waste. It combines cushioning, breathability, and comfortable underfoot feel for long days on the trail.
