Nordica is a world-renowned Italian brand founded in 1939 in Montebelluna, specializing in the manufacture of winter sports equipment, particularly high-performance alpine ski boots and skis for all mountain disciplines (all-mountain, freeride, and competition).
Origin and History
- Foundation: Created in October 1939 by brothers Adriano and Oddone Vaccari, initially as a mountain footwear company.
- Specialization: After World War II, the brand shifted its production to ski boots and footwear.
- Key Innovations: It pioneered the introduction of metal buckles in the 1960s and the development of injection-molded plastic shells for ski boots.
