The La Sportiva Bushido III is the redesign of the iconic shoe dedicated to the world of skyraces: grippy and aggressive, built to guarantee perfect stability on any off-road terrain. It keeps and improves the details that made this model one of the best-sellers in the La Sportiva collection, with a redesigned outsole that increases grip and a renewed upper that gains in breathability.
Renewed Air Mesh upper and medial TPU HF skeleton
The side panels in the midfoot area have been modified compared to previous versions to gain breathability, while the medial TPU HF skeleton, applied over rip-stop panels, adds structure and stability without penalising weight. The slip-on internal construction wraps the foot like a sock, without compressing it or creating pressure points, with a tongue that makes the shoe feel like a genuine glove.
EVA midsole with cushioning platform and STB Control
The midsole combines EVA compression with an additional EVA cushioning platform, the stability control system and a rock-protective insert, achieving the right balance between responsiveness, cushioning and support. The rigid TPU piece at the bridge area, the STB Control that extends from the rear of the midsole, wraps around the heel and delivers remarkable stability on technical and uneven terrain.
FriXion® Red dual-compound outsole with Impact Brake System™
The dual-compound FriXion® Red outsole increases grip thanks to redesigned lugs that flare further outward to gain stability on rocky and compact zones, together with the new lateral panel construction. The Impact Brake System™ absorbs impact, improves traction and holds on descents, ideal for alpine, technical and hard terrain over medium distances.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
- Medial TPU HF skeleton: High-frequency thermoplastic polyurethane structure applied over rip-stop panels in the midfoot area, providing structural support and stability without adding significant weight to the shoe.
- Slip-on construction: Sock-style shoe system with no traditional laces, wrapping the foot without compressing it or generating localised pressure points, noticeably improving comfort during technical races.
- STB Control: Rigid TPU piece extending from the rear of the midsole to wrap the heel, delivering additional torsional stability on uneven footholds or inclined terrain.
- EVA with cushioning platform: Combination of standard EVA compression with an additional cushioning platform that balances responsiveness, impact absorption and structural support with every stride.
- FriXion® Red: Dual-compound rubber developed by La Sportiva with redesigned lugs that flare outward to gain stability on rocky and compact zones, increasing overall outsole grip.
- Impact Brake™ System: System applied to the outsole that absorbs impact, aids traction and retains grip on descents, developed by La Sportiva in collaboration with Vibram®.
- OrthoLite Hybrid Mountain Running: 4mm footbed made with 20% recycled materials, designed for both male and female feet, with different thicknesses according to average user weight to maximise breathability and comfort.
