BUSHIDO III GTX

The La Sportiva Bushido III GTX is the stable, grippy shoe built for the world of skyracing, now also featuring a GORE-TEX Invisible Fit ePE membrane, PFC-free, to guarantee protection and flexibility in any condition. It keeps all the technical essence that has made the Bushido family a mountain reference, now adding the ability to run with full confidence in rain, snow or muddy terrain.

GORE-TEX Invisible Fit ePE and reinforced Air Mesh upper
The GORE-TEX Invisible Fit ePE membrane, formulated without PFC compounds, integrates directly into the breathable Air Mesh upper without adding bulk or altering the fit compared to the non-membrane version. Thermo-adhesive TPU reinforcements and monobava nylon side panels add extra abrasion resistance, while the medial TPU HF skeleton over rip-stop panels maintains the structure and stability the model is known for.

EVA midsole with Stability Control Insert and Rock-Guard protection
The midsole combines EVA compression with a stability control insert and rock protection, achieving the balance needed between responsiveness, cushioning and support on technical or wet terrain. The slip-on internal construction wraps the foot like a sock, without compressing it or generating pressure points, ideal for long races where comfort makes the difference.

FriXion® Red dual-compound outsole with lateral Impact Brake System™
The dual-compound FriXion® Red outsole features lugs with lateral Mountain Running Impact Brake System™, absorbing impact and improving traction on both ascents and descents over slippery terrain. Available in classic enveloping fit or Wide version, with the same fit and feel but slightly roomier volumes for those seeking extra comfort.

• GORE-TEX Invisible Fit ePE (PFC Free): Next-generation waterproof and breathable membrane, formulated without perfluorocarbon compounds, integrated directly into the upper with no additional layers, maintaining the same fit and feel as the non-membrane version.
• Thermo-adhesive TPU reinforcements: Thermoplastic film applications resisting friction and abrasion in the highest-demand areas of the upper, extending shoe lifespan on technical terrain.
• Slip-on construction: Sock-style shoe system that wraps the foot without compressing it or generating localised pressure points, improving comfort during long-duration races.
• EVA with Stability Control Insert: Compressed midsole foam working alongside a stability control insert and Rock-Guard protection, balancing responsiveness, cushioning and support on uneven terrain.
• FriXion® Red: Dual-compound rubber developed by La Sportiva differentiating contact surfaces to guarantee maximum grip on any type of terrain, dry or wet.
• Impact Brake™ System: System applied to the outsole that absorbs impact, aids traction and retains grip on descents, developed by La Sportiva in collaboration with Vibram®.
