HEAD DISCOVERY 86 PRO + PROTECTOR EVO PR 11 GW brings together HEAD's flagship all-mountain ski and a binding, ready to ski. With an 86 mm waist, a full wood core and Auxetic technology, it delivers power, stability and control on all kinds of terrain. Its wraparound fiberglass Superframe structure and Graphene add torsional stiffness without extra weight, while the All-ride Rocker profile eases turn initiation and gives simple handling with reliable stability. The Protector Evo PR 11 GW binding, with a VX toe piece with BTR kinematics and PowerRail, completes a versatile package for skiing with ease on and off the piste.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
- Full wood core - The wood core runs the entire length of the ski. It provides a natural, stable response with good vibration absorption. It is the basis of a progressive, predictable feel in every type of snow.
- Auxetic - A layer that expands laterally as the ski flexes. This makes the ski stiffer the more it is loaded. The result is progressive flex: the harder you push, the more it pushes back.
- Superframe - A fiberglass structure that wraps around the ski. It increases torsional stiffness and improves the transmission of force to the edge. It delivers stability and control without sacrificing lightness.
- Graphene - A material used in strategic places in the ski to reduce weight and increase strength. It improves mass distribution and agility when changing edges. The result is a light ski that is easy to turn and control.
- All-ride Rocker - A profile with a raised tip and camber underfoot. It eases turn initiation and handling in different snow conditions. It keeps edge grip when the terrain demands it.
- UHM C base - An ultra-high molecular weight base, resistant to wear and fast gliding. It is designed for long-term use. It keeps its performance season after season.
- Better Balance - A mounting plate with a constant 0.75° ramp angle for all boot sole lengths. It helps maintain a balanced position over the ski. It eases turn initiation and adds stability at high speed.
- Protector Evo PR 11 GW - A binding with a VX toe piece with BTR kinematics and a redesigned heel piece for easier entry and exit. Its DIN range runs from 3 to 11 and it is compatible with ISO 5355 and GripWalk ISO 23223 soles. The PowerRail system allows it to be mounted on skis with a PR base.
