The Head Edge 8 W R HV GW BOA is a wide-last women's alpine ski boot built for intermediate skiers looking for a precise, comfortable fit on the slopes. Its progressive flex 80 and BOA closure on the lower shell deliver even hold with no pressure points.
The EZ Tech Shell makes getting in much easier thanks to the EZ-On High Top design, while EZ-Ski technology keeps direct contact between the leg and the lower boot for more precise energy transfer. The bi-injected structure with a women-specific profile and Power Flex spread stiffness progressively, and the Comfort W liner with Sport footbed delivers warm, enveloping cushioning. The GripWalk-compatible sole also makes it easier to walk off the snow.

- BOA Fit System - A closure system using a dial on the lower boot that tensions a steel cable, spreading pressure continuously and evenly across the foot. Allows millimeter-precise adjustment in either direction with a simple turn, removing the pressure points typical of traditional buckles.
- EZ-On High Top - A shell design that widens the entry gap at the top of the boot to make getting the foot in and out easier. Simplifies putting the boot on, especially on cold mornings, without losing hold once closed.
- EZ-Ski - Technology that keeps direct contact between the leg and the lower shell once closed, improving energy transfer to the ski. Delivers a more direct, precise response through turns without sacrificing the comfort of the easy-entry design.
- Power Flex - A system that spreads shell stiffness progressively across the flex range. Delivers a soft response at the start of the movement that firms up as pressure increases, staying forgiving without losing control.
- Extended Toe Box - A toe area with more interior volume than a standard boot, designed to give the toes more room. Reduces pressure points and improves circulation on long days, also helping to keep feet warmer.
- Sport footbed - A liner footbed designed to support the foot and absorb impacts and vibrations while skiing. Improves comfort on long days and helps maintain a stable stance on the ski.
- GripWalk® - A sole standard that replaces the classic flat ski boot profile with a curved shape offering more traction for walking off the snow. Improves stability and safety on asphalt, ice, or uneven surfaces, provided the binding is GripWalk-compatible.
