For shipments within the Peninsula, the order will be delivered by a courier company (SEUR or MRW) within 48-72 hours after payment confirmation from the bank (always considering working days and excluding local or national holidays in both the sending and receiving countries).

Shipping costs are automatically calculated through the website based on the destination country and will be detailed during the order process.

The EXPEDITION MERINO SILK LONGS WOMAN by Devold are full-length women's thermal base layer bottoms built for the most intense cold, descended from garments the Norwegian brand has tested on numerous polar expeditions. Their double-layer construction places a 100% extra-fine merino inner face against the skin, soft and itch-free, with an Aquaduct-treated merino and silk blend on the outside that draws moisture away from the body. Silk replaces synthetic polyamide, adding durability, a softer feel and an elegant finish in a 100% natural version of the Expedition range.

The design is made for extended use in harsh conditions. The wide elastic waistband stays comfortable under a harness and outer trousers, flat seams prevent chafing and double cuffs hold their shape wash after wash. Merino wool also regulates temperature and limits odours naturally, so the garment can be worn for several days in a row. They are the choice for ski touring in very low temperatures, traverses and expeditions, or long waits while hunting or fishing. Designed in Norway and made by Devold in Europe, with mulesing-free wool and no silicone.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

 

  • Expedition: Devold's double-layer construction developed for extreme weather and tested on numerous polar expeditions. It combines two fabrics with different functions to deliver high insulation without sacrificing breathability. It is the brand's warmest base layer range.
  • Aquaduct: A treatment applied to the outer layer that boosts moisture transport from the body to the surface of the fabric. There, sweat evaporates quickly, so the inner face stays dry. The garment therefore keeps its insulating power even during intense effort.
  • Merino and silk: In the outer layer, silk replaces the synthetic polyamide used in other Expedition versions. It strengthens the fabric's durability and gives it a softer feel and a more refined look. The result is a garment made entirely from natural fibres.
  • Extra-fine merino: The inner layer uses 18.7 micron merino wool, finer than that of the outer layer. This fineness lets the fibre bend against the skin instead of prickling, making it soft and itch-free. It is the ideal next-to-skin feel for wearing the garment for many hours at a time.
