If the F1 LT is the lightweight sibling built to devour vertical gain, the Scarpa F1 XT is the one that adds a few extra grams to gain bite on the descent without giving up an ounce of uphill efficiency. Born from the same race-boot lineage that gave rise to the Alien and the F1 LT, the F1 XT adds toughness exactly where it's needed: its Grilamid FG LFT shell, reinforced with long glass fibers, pairs with a Carbon Grilamid LFT cuff and Grid Frame Tech structure to transmit every push from the skier down to the ski on the descent, all while retaining the 72° range of motion that defines the entire F1 family on the way up.
The Speed Lock LT ski/walk mechanism, now with Friction Free Technology, removes the connecting rod between shell and cuff to gain smoothness with every stride, while the forward lean angle adjusts across three positions (11°-13°-15°) depending on terrain and skiing style. The Wave Lite Closure System replaces the classic BOA with a coated steel cable anchored at three points, tuned by a micrometric lever and paired with the Power Strap Lite, while inside the Tour LT2 thermal liner in Intuition foam, with a recycled ORTHOLITE® footbed, heat-molds to the foot for long touring days in demanding conditions.
