The AERO by Ski Trab is a ski mountaineering helmet designed for those who count every gram without compromising on safety. Weighing just 290 g in size S/M, it combines triple certification (ski mountaineering, alpine skiing and cycling) and is approved for ISMF competitions, making it an equally strong choice for training sessions and the start line.
Its polycarbonate shell with matte finish covers a high-density polystyrene interior built with Hollow Core technology: two assembled EPS shells that form 6 internal air channels, fed by 14 vents, to draw heat away on the toughest climbs. The adjustment dial fits the helmet to the head quickly and easily, the microfiber padding adds comfort on long days, and the elastic straps keep ski goggles or a headlamp securely in place, both on the descent and on night outings.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
- Hollow Core technology - the interior consists of two molded EPS shells assembled together, leaving 6 channels between them through which air entering the front intakes circulates. This internal airflow continuously draws heat and moisture away during climbs, when effort peaks, without adding weight or reducing impact absorption.
- Triple CE certification - the AERO meets the EN 12492 mountaineering, EN 1077-B alpine skiing and EN 1078 cycling standards. EN 1077-B approval, required by ISMF regulations, makes it race-legal for ski mountaineering competitions, so a single helmet covers training, racing and descending with the right certified protection.
- Polycarbonate shell and high-density EPS - the matte-finish polycarbonate outer layer spreads the force of impacts and protects the core, while the high-density expanded polystyrene absorbs the impact energy. This combination keeps the weight down to just 290 g in size S/M.
- Adjustment dial - the dial-based fit system adjusts the helmet's inner circumference quickly and easily. It delivers a stable, precise fit that stays put through changes of pace, both on the way up and on the descent.
- Elastic straps for goggles and headlamp - the elastic straps built into the sides and back of the helmet secure the strap of ski goggles or a headlamp. They stop it from slipping during activity and are especially handy for night training sessions or pre-dawn starts.
