The La Sportiva Kilo is built for the most demanding ski tourer and skimo racer, with a shell and cuff in Grilamid Bio Based LF Carbon™, an exclusive compound developed specifically for this boot, striking a rare balance between structural stiffness and extreme lightness: just 1,000 grams per boot.
The Tilt-Lock Lite™ system operates with one hand, even with gloves on, offering 70° of range of motion for the climb and two forward lean positions (12° and 14°) to fine-tune your stance on the descent. The Force™ closure with technopolymer buckles and the Power Buckle™ strap concentrate pressure exactly where it's needed while skiing, the WarmSole™ platform isolates the foot from the shell, and the FriXion® Wave Alpine™ outsole delivers ISMF-compliant grip; the boot is compatible with Tech (pin) and Alpine Touring (AT) bindings.
