The Scarpa Mont Blanc GTX is a rugged mountain boot built for long, demanding days on uneven ground, where stability, waterproof protection, and durability matter most. It's the kind of boot you reach for when the work takes you off trail and the terrain stays rough — from backcountry tasks to extended days in winter alpinism. The Perwanger suede leather upper handles abrasion and abuse with ease, while the GORE-TEX® ePE lining keeps feet dry and comfortable through wet weather and changing mountain conditions.
Supportive collar and perimeter protection
A tall, supportive ankle collar adds structure for sidehills and heavy loads, while the reinforced heel counter, both inside and out, increases comfort and durability in the highest-stress area. A full perimeter rand runs around the entire boot, protecting it against rocks and debris on technical terrain.
TPU-chassis midsole and crampon compatibility
The PU midsole with a TPU chassis provides shock absorption and stability underfoot, aided by ACTIVimpact technology. The crampon-compatible TPU insert, with differentiated thickness, allows automatic and semi-automatic crampons to be securely attached, while the ankle Flex Point delivers dexterity and ease of movement on technical passages.
Vibram Essential outsole and gender-specific fit
The Vibram® Essential outsole, in Mont compound, delivers dependable traction and long-wearing grip, particularly effective on icy surfaces. The ergonomic Pro Fiber XT 20 insole, reinforced with differentiated-thickness fibreglass, adds lightness and comfort, while ACTIVfit technology ensures the last and construction of the boot are specifically developed for the male foot.

- ACTIVimpact Technology: A construction process employing specific materials in the midsole to absorb the negative impact of ground contact, reducing stress on the lower limbs during extended days.
